Geisha Bear Pink is the first one I have done of these and is an offshoot of the fantasy bears I have stuck in my head and am working on currently.
This lil one was donw with a base bear bought at Joann's, I then added yarn hair going for an anime pink grin.
The lil kimono I had to draw the pattern from scratch, this was an excercise unto itself in that I have'nt done a pattern for anything before.
It came out ok but a bit short and the next one will be done a bit differently, however I now have patterns for the kimonos should anyone be interested.
I used contrasting brocades for the kimono, the obi and what not.
I will also be adding the lil wooden sandles eventually and possibly the toe socks though since bears don't necesarily have twos that should prove interesting.
Well I hope you all like her and more will soon be up here.
Well the next one will be brown brocade with bright blue butterflies on it with the obi being the contrasting blue.
I have another one in the process of being completed as well and it will have black hair with a simple cotton batik print in blues or greens not sure on that yet.
I can also do one custom if she'd like one grin.
Let me know.
Thanks for the compliments I am hoping the pink one finds a home this weekend.
